Many of you would have used our Nokia Share Online configuration to upload to Zoopy using your Nseries Nokia mobile phone. Our Share Online setup has been absent for a little while, but is now back with a vengeance!
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Share Online, it’s an application that comes installed on your Nokia Nseries phone that allows you to share your videos and photos straight from your phone’s gallery.
We’re happy to tell you that we’ve relaunched our mobile site (http://m.zoopy.com), giving it a sleeker design to bring it more in line with www.zoopy.com and more Zoopy functionality previously unavailble on your mobile handset.
Here are some of the changes you can expect to see:
New markup. Zoopy Mobile now uses the XHTML Mobile 1.2 standard.
New layout. We’ve neatened the site, standardizing layout, buttons, lists, controls and pagination.
More functionality. We’ve added a bunch of features to the site, including:
URL upload
auto-sharing to Twitter and Facebook
enhanced profile management
Nokia Share Online configuration
media rating
Lots more!
More performance. We’ve moved the mobile site onto the same infrastructure that www.zoopy.com runs on, so speed and reliability have been greatly improved!

Zoopy has developed yet another way for you to upload your videos, photos and audio clips directly from your mobile phone. All you need to do is send us an MMS and attach your media files to it!
To get your personalized email address for MMS uploads, all you need to do is sign in (you need to register first if you haven’t yet), go to your profile settings page, and click on Email and MMS uploads. There you will find the email address to send the MMS to, as well as customizable default settings for your submissions.
Please note that the MMS upload service has been fine-tuned for Vodacom, MTN and CellC subscribers, but MMSs from other providers will be processed as well. In general, the subject of the MMS (if supplied) will be used as the title of the new media items, and the body of the MMS will be used as a description. If no subject is provided, the body of the MMS will be used as a title.
Zoopy TV (a separate platform within our site with various shows produced by the Zoopy content team) has just had another exciting show added to the line-up.
On Screen joins our other three shows (Out and About, I’ve Got News and Street Cam) to cover all the action, drama and excitement of the movie world, with reviews, interviews and behind-the-scenes buzz.
Presented by Jasyn Howes, the show presents short and snappy movie reviews on a weekly basis, giving users a quick and easy way to check out what’s happening on the movie scene right now. Also included are reviews of older movies available on DVD, giving you the opportunity to discover classic gems or reminding you to relive your favourites.
Jasyn is a 23 year old movie fanatic with tastes across the board: art house to sci-fi, action to cult classics. His opinions are fresh, direct and unashamedly honest, all summed up in ratings that range from A+ through to F.
